VBHS Track Renovations

Overview

MAHG Architecture in collaboration with the Van Buren School District worked together to complete many additions and renovations to the existing High School Track & Field site. This project includes replacement of the underground drainage system, newly graded and sodded infield, new track & equipment for field events, new concession stand with restrooms, new ticket booth and entry sequence, and perimeter fencing.

The project provides the Van Buren Track & Field program with a brand new 1,500 square foot building and a smaller adjacent ticket booth building. The material selections were chosen to provide economically minded construction, as well as, closely match the existing adjacent athletic structures. The building program includes a new concession stand area, large storage room for track equipment, men and women’s restrooms, janitor’s room with additional storage, and a 2-sided ticket booth integrated into the fencing and new entrance,
