Scott-Sebastian Regional Library

Overview

The Greenwood branch of the Scott-Sebastian Regional Library is designed to sit at a future prominent lot of the anticipated 40-acre Master Planned Mixed-Use Development called “The Curve”. It is situated to overlook the entrance to the City of Greenwood providing views out over US HWY 71 S, and visibility to all passing by or entering into the city of Greenwood. The building site has incorporated walkability into its layout and works to blend the interaction of interior spaces with the anticipated pedestrian nature of exterior spaces

The 11,000 square foot addition facility includes staff offices and conference room, restrooms, community room, children’s library, and storytelling area, teens library, and adult library including periodicals, senior area, computers, and private study rooms. An open floor plan and abundant glass promote natural lighting and interaction with the community and visitors.
