Methodist Village Senior Living

Overview

The Methodist Village Senior Living project consisted of the renovation of 50,092 s.f. of the existing facility and additions which totaled 10,449 s.f. Due to the size of the project and the fact that the facility would still need to be operable during construction, the building was divided into 7 areas.

The renovation aspect of the project included the renovation of existing patient rooms, the administration area, the dining room, and the existing kitchen. The kitchen underwent the most change. It was converted from a small one-room area into a larger facility. Incorporated were areas for dry storage, a separate dish-washing area, space for a meat freezer and walk-in cooler, and a new serving line.

Additions to the facility included community and activity rooms for each wing, laundry facilities, and expanded and resident centered landscaped courtyards.
