NWACC Student Center

Overview

The three story Student Union was built to meet the needs of NWACC’s rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas campus. The first building to be built as part of the College’s long range master plan, the new Student Union consolidates spaces that were previously spread across the existing campus.

The first Floor of the Student Union responds to the commuter student’s needs both before and after classes, providing a food court and dining area, a cyber café, bookstore, commuter lounge, game and TV room, and a large multi-purpose room.

The second floor combines all of the College’s enrollment functions including Advising, Admissions, Cashier, Student Records, Financial Aid, and the Multi-cultural Center. The idea behind locating all of these offices together was to simplify and streamline the enrollment process into a one-stop registration location.

Because of the College’s increasing enrollment, the third floor is dedicated to classrooms and faculty offices with 8 new classrooms, 2 computer labs, a physics lab, and a testing center.
